We have Moved!!!

Sorry all, I had to move my blog so that I could get away from people from my past who were stalking me online. I never knew that I was so popular, but I suppose if you're going to have an affair with a married man, you'll want to check up on the woman he was married to, just so you can make sure you're measuring up; and if you're going to try to kill your wife without succeeding, you're going to want to check up on what she is doing as well, especially since you're the prime suspect in the investigation!!

No no, the second part about the attempting to kill the wife is not about me. But the first part is!!

Anyway....

I thought I'd add some personal notes about my new life here in Southern Wisconsin. Changing jobs and moving to a completely different area away from my family and friends has a huge impact on you. I never knew that I had so many people that cared about me; but I was surprised at how many people did NOT show up to my going away party to say goodbye to me....but, such is life, I suppose.

Well my first week in Wisconsin is done and I am now in my second week.

All of the people here at UW Madison are very nice and I am very happy about the choice that I made to accept this job. Sam stayed back last week in Minnesota to pack up our apartment and get everything ready to move. He and I were so stressed out about the whole process, we bickered all week! But he came down this past Sunday finally and things are way better. He's already fishing with his friends again and I'm so glad that he is going to be happy. Not that he was unhappy in Minnesota, of course having me there to be with him made it better, but he just wasn't completely HAPPY.

I am very excited about this move to a new place, and I'm 100% glad that I made it. It feels good to get away from the bad things in Minnesota and to start fresh.

Madison is a great city, from what I'm feeling in this week and two days. Milton, where we are living, is also very nice, although I am NOT used to the smell of manure in the morning. That's going to take some getting used to. All of Sam's friends are very nice as well, and he has several female friends that are great to hang around, and they're all usually out with the guys when we go out. I'm waiting to hear the first person say the "N" word, or perhaps to say something to me about my Mexicanness, but as of now, nothing. My co-workers are very nice too, and they have made me feel very welcome. I never used to be able to make friends so easily, but as I get older and more confident, I find that the list of my friends is getting larger and larger. I feel like I have so much experience to contribute to this place already, so learning this position is not going to be too tough, all I'll need is to learn the web site back and forth so I can train others to use it. That's really the big thing. Here we are taking a boat cruise on Lake Mentota. Me on a boat cruise on my second week of my new job!!

I went to check out the UW-Madison bookstore yesterday. There was so much RED. I don't think that I'm quite ready to wear any red, nor post any red things on any of my possessions. People from all sides of me are calling me cheese head and Sconnie, and here they're calling me a mud duck. I'm Minnesota for life! But so far I do like this university, so I feel that there is a chance that it will grow on me. I'm officially a state employee too, so I've got good benefits, as well as the Wisconsin Retirement System which I hear is the best in the mid-west. I don't know too much about the mission and history of UW Madison, but I'll be attending a new employee orientation next week. That'll include a tour, so I'm excited about that.

That's all I've got for now. Sam hasn't found a job yet, so don't be surprised to hear that we up and got married at the courthouse, just so he can get my state benefits!! I've already had one grand wedding in my life. I'd rather spend my money on buying a house.

This Blog had Moved to a New Address!!!

I think I am going to move this blog to a new site, since I have ex-husbands and their girlfriends and brothers searching us online and I cannot get away from them on Facebook and Myspace. In an effort to keep myself SAFE as well as the others around me, I'm planning on moving the address of this blog since I happened to give the ex this blog address back before I found out about his shinnanigans.

I've moved it to a new location. I should have e-mailed you with the new address, but if you don't have it, send me an e-mail!!

My Baby Sis Graduated from High School...

Seventeen years ago I was blessed with a sweet little sister, born on the same day as me, on my 13th birthday. Her name was Jewel, and as we have discovered over the last year, we look very much alike, even though we have different moms!!

Here is my baby Jujee, isn't she adorable??

Here we are hanging out together back in the day. Notice my sweet biker shorts:

This past Friday was the big day, baby sis Jujee graduated from Buffalo High School in good ole Buffalo, Minnesota. And yes, she is taller then me, what a shame I have to be so short!!

Stay tuned for her beautiful senior pics that I have forgotten to upload to Photobucket...!!...........
..............................

Oooh, oooh, here she is, soooo beautiful!!!

Oooh, and here we are at her grad party. I love her! (I'd also like to point out that she is still taller than me here, even though I am wearing four-inch heels and she is barefoot. Thanks mom for that. We'll call her my big baby sis.) Oh, and some crazy woman whom I didn't know asked me: "now which one is older, you or Jewel?" I took one look at Jujee's mom Colleen and we both started laughing. It took me a minute to get myself together again and answer: "Jewel was born on my 13th birthday!!"
