Summer Fun...

Hot off the press, Sam and I went fishing and caught the lovely trout you see below. Aren't we a great fishing team??

And that same lovely day, I caught a few blue gill...check me out. It's not the sweetest fish that I've caught, but I'll take it.

Good news too!!! While I was busy going on boat rides and picnics at work (this is me below at a company picnic)...

...Sammy found a job in Madison, and now we'll be most likely commuting to Madison together. Do you think we can handle it? Sure...I joined a kung fu school and have been going Tuesday and Thursday nights to prepare for Jeet Kune Do. For those of you who don't know, Jeet Kune Do is the martial art that Bruce Lee created, named at one time, Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do or Jun Fan Gung Fu. Jun Fan is Bruce Lee's Chinese name. And yes, it's a girl's name. His parents were superstitious after they lost one of their first sons. They were trying to hide him from the family "curse." They are forcing me to do six months of Muy Thai kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. The Muy Thai is fun, but I don't like the jiu jitsu much, it's a lot of wrestling, grappling and escaping holds. We don't have enough women in the class for me to partner up with one each time, and I hate grappling with the stinky men. I almost always accidentally kick them in the nuts.

This weekend will be a weekend of adventure!! Joey is coming down with Pa Chia and the boys, we're headed off to Sam's Aunt's horse ranch (maybe), and Sammy said we could go to Six Flags for my birthday. The second best part of it all (the first being that I get to see my little dudes and squeeze their noggins tight)...I have next Tuesday and Wednesday off, so I have a five day weekend. Yes!!!

I'll be sure to post pics next week of the fun weekend festivities.

New Pic Site!!

I've created a new pic site to store my OLDER photos. It's at www.amyandsamsolderpics.shutterfly.com. Or, you can click on our 'view our complete photo album here' link here on the right, and find the link to our older pic site under "Fave Links." I know it's confusing, but you've gotta stay with me.

Apple River and August Weddings...

At the end of July Sam and I took a trip back up to Somerset to camp at River's Edge campgrounds and tube on the Apple River with a whole bunch of Sam's pals. Yay for a weekend of fun! Here we are!!

An remember our lovely bachelorette Amber? She got married just this past weekend to a one Mr. Christopher Kingsley, who apparently, as I just found out as his mirror image walked the maid of honor down the aisle, is a twin!!

Apparently it is my life goal to take as many pictures with Mr. Samuel as I can. I think we have more pictures together in one year and seven months than I had with my ex-husband in nine years!! I just can't help it, Sammy is so cute!!

And here is our lovely bride Amber, she's got the best laugh and sense of humor!!

So what has been going on down here in Southern Wisconnie?? Other than Apple River trips, bachelorette parties and weddings, we've been going fishing. See the sweet bass that I caught??

And...after about three attempts/visits to the Wisconsin DMV, I was finally allowed my Wisconsin driver's license. Does that mean I'm completely Wisconsin now? NOT!! We've been living the drama of Brett Favre here, but I thought it would have been SOO funny if he had gone to the Vikings. That would have been the best. But oh well!! Haha...

Stay tuned, my golden birthday is coming up on the 31st, and I'm hoping my brother will come down to visit with a few of his little dudes. I love those guys...
