Home...

Yay, I'm home...got home Saturday night. I was able to sleep that night, but then I slept all day on Sunday and I wasn't able to sleep at all Sunday night. I finally went to sleep at 8am this morning and got up at 2pm. Not too bad. Took a nap at 8pm tonight, but then Sammy came home from hanging out with his brother and now I'm up again. I think I can go to sleep though. Hmmmm???

Woah, WOAH....getting ready to leave again this weekend. Heading up to Minnesota on Friday night. Going to fly down to San Antonio on July 1st with my dad and my brother. We are going to see Jujee's graduation from the Air Force Bootcamp in San Antonio. I'm looking forward to hanging out with my brother, he just makes me laugh. Haha!

If you're aching for a pic, here's one of Sammy and I. He's so adorable...

And look at my lovely lavender rose! Our landscaping is coming along! I really need to take photos. That'll be my job tomorrow, if I can wake myself up. Ay...anyways, here's my rose. You know me, it has to be purple. I would paint my house purple if it were socially exceptable...

Our Last Day in Asia

So Kristin and I are getting ready to head home. It's our last day at the CommunicAsia conference. We have been bombarded with lovely MEN "wondering" what our booth and service is about. Curious that no women stop by to ask the same questions!!! Tuesday was the busiest day, and the rest of the days have been quite boring. I was able to go all around and snap some photos...

Here's Osman and I...

And some sweet Korean breakdancing at the huge Samsung booth...

And me...

Here we are at our booth, aren't we cool:

So maybe I'll add some more tonight, not quite sure...

Tuesday Morning In Singapore

Hey ya'll, it's Tuesday morning. We are getting ready for our first big day at the CommunicAsia conference, the big event that brought us down here. I've already taken photos, and I can't wait to see what the place looks like today on its first day of opening.

However, let's take a look of the pics of Kristin and I hanging out at the zoo!!!

Here's a pic of a cute little Chinese girl walking a snake skin around for us to explore...

And some cute orangutans that we could pose with. We decided not to, it was just too hot that day...

And a look at the nasty durian. If you click on the photo, you can read about this nasty fruit that is popular in Singapore. It's horrible and the smell makes you want to pass out.

Check out these Lemurs. They're so close to us that we can touch them! Although, we didn't try because one was the baby and one was the momma, and we all know how momma's can get crazy about their kids...

Check out this orangutan giving us the finger. Haha!!!

That's all the time that I have for today folks. If I have enough energy, I'll add some more pics tonight. Tootles!!

A Saturday in this Crazy Town Called Singapore

Amongst my second trip to this lovely land, here's what I got with my new fancy camera...

This is my hotel room at the lovely Marina Mandarin...

And yes, if you see that the clock says 2:17, that is 2:17am Singapore time. We like to travel into all hours of the night!!!

And here is a pic of my lovely and fancy bathroom. I know you're just so excited about that, aren't you? But, this is a fancy bathroom, it has one of those 'extra' toilets to wash your bum with. What is that called again? A badee? How do you spell that? And why, if your bum is just so dirty enough that you feel the need to wash it with water, wouldn't you just hop in the damn shower? Seriously....

I snapped these pics on our first night. This is the view from my hotel balcony...

And here is a view of the Singapore flier, the tallest flier in the world?? Maybe the tallest ferris wheel?

And just in case you were wondering who Kristin was, here is a pic of us. We traveled here together as lovely representatives of UW-Madison...

Stay tuned for more pics...

Another Singaporian Adventure....

Here I am trying to come up with witty titles to name these things. I'm such a blogger loser. I have been sooo busy with things. I've been super busy at work. I started making all kinds of signs and wooden plaques and I have been selling them on eBay, and I've even started making my own little cell phone charms, which, I have to say, were a big hit at the annual city-wide Milton rummage sale last weekend. I think I sold 30 of those things!!! Here is a pic of just ONE of the many that I have made:

Anyways, you can check out my entire store at www.crazyamysfleamarket.com. Sam and I have also been working hard on our landscaping, and I started a new class. It's all keeping us very busy. Sorry about the lack of pics of the landscaping. I'll add those soon.

So I'm in Singapore again. Woot woot. What is today? Right now, it is Saturday evening, 8:29 pm Singapore time. That means that back in Wisconsin, it's Saturday morning, 7:29am. We got into Singapore very early Friday morning Singapore time. Spent all day Friday getting used to the time, and spent today running around land and sea with my co-worder buddy Kristin--also my traveler in crime--I should say. Our flight leaves for home very early next Saturday morning at like 5am Singapore time, which will be 4pm Friday evening Wisconsin time. As of right now, I'm tired, I'm going to post pics for you in the morning. While you guys are just waking up home in the heartland, we're going to bed here. But first I've gotta take a shower and wash all of the sweat that collected in my butt from all that walking in this hot Singaporian weather....

On a Side Note...

OK, SINCE THE PERSON FROM ROSCOE, ILLINOIS CHECKED UP ON US SINCE I'VE POSTED THE MESSAGE AND DIDN'T COMMENT ON WHO THEY WERE, I'M GOING TO SAY THAT THEY'RE A RELATIVE OF MISS MADELYN NYGREN. I KNOW SHE'S GOT FAMILY IN ILLINOIS, & FUNNY THEY START LOOKING AT THIS RIGHT AFTER I POST THE BLOG ADDRESS ON MYSPACE. TELL HER THAT I SAID HI!

*************************************************************************
On a side note, I've been slacking on my blogging, and I guess that's not too much of a big deal since not very many people read it. Hah!! We've been doing all kinds of things worth blogging about too!!! And guess what, I got a new sweet camera!!!! As soon as I can find the time, I'll add photos. In the meantime, I'm getting ready to go to Singapore again, hiring a new student, working on all kinds of other projects at work, started a new class, getting ready for a rummage sale that we're having this weekend. And holy schnikees, Jujee joined the Air Force and is already going to be graduating from boot camp on July 3rd. So two weeks after I get back from Singapore, I'll be driving down to San Antonio. Lord oh Lord!!! Give me time!! It hurts!!

It Feels Like Monday
