Watch Out Bambi...

Well what a happy household we are!!!! Mr. Samuel J. Clapper shot the buck that he was so trying to get!! Yes, he did, got it yesterday. I do not have all of the details other than these pics:

The only other details that I have on this shot was that it is very bloody. Blood on the garage floor, blood on the garage wall, blood in the driveway, blood in the Target parking lot as I drive away and look back to see more dried blood in the truck bed. Woohoo! Not! I hope that blood comes out of my driveway, had to cover it up with snow so the neighbors didn't think we were murdering people over here. And yes, Mr. Buck is hanging in our garage, as we speak. Would you like a video of it?? If you are really interested in all of the buck details, feel free to e-mail me and I can give you the points, location and all that other hunting jargon.

What else is new??? I'm back home, made it home Saturday afternoon. I am actually missing my little buddies a lot though, so I think I'll be going back in a few weeks. Those boys are so adorable. Did you watch Miguel singing me a Christmas song?? How can you NOT think these boys are adorable? I mean here, here is a video of Manny trying to stay awake by rocking himself all over. It didn't work though...

AND WE HAVE FINALLY MOVED INTO OUR HOUSE!!! We are still missing some living room furniture and some bedroom furniture. Feel free to donate to the Clapper/Rivera furniture cause. But we at least got our bed from Minnesota and put a brand new comforter on it. Yay! It's so comfy! We feel at home!!!

And Sammy is almost done with the tile in the laundry room. We'll be putting our new washer and dryer in there in no time. The dirty laundry is piling up man. So if you're jonesing for a new video of our house, let me know.

And if you're needing some Christmas pics, here they are:

All of the remaining pics are on our pic site, which you can find to the right. Until then....tootles!!! It's snowing and Sammy has to be to work at 1am!

Christmas with My Little Buddies

Hey Ya'll. I'm still hanging out in St. Paul with my three little buddies, Gabriel, Miguel and Manny. I got up here sunday evening and what happens? I take a drive to Walmart on Tuesday and I almost vomit in the aisles!! Yay! It appears that I have caught the boys's stomach flu, which means I almost tossed my cookies in Walmart on the day before Christmas Eve, and I had to sit in the parking lot for 20 minutes before I felt well enough to drive myself home. Yay!!!

So I had planned on going home today sometime, but Sammy wanted me to wait, since it's supposed to be freezing rain in Milton, and I'm bringing home our lovely orthopedic bed. We want to make sure it doesn't get dretched. So I am here still, with my pals, my brother, my moms and my little sister. Today is Miguel's birthday, and he was kind enough sing me a Christmas song. Here he is:

Soo precious!!!

Manny's birthday was December 23rd, and we had fun shoving his face into his birthday cake. Here he is all angry and full of fury:

Oooh, he was so mad, but only three minutes later he was all fine again:

So will I ever get home with our wonderful bed? I sure do miss Sammy a LOT. Can't wait to see him again!

It's Almost Christmas

We are still working hard to get our home ready, I am pretty sure we'll be able to move in this weekend, but then I'll probably be leaving on Sunday or Monday to go home to Minnesota. It's been very snowy down here in Southern Wisconsin, and therefore, Sammy has been plowing like crazy. Plow plow plow, and guess what that means? That I get to shovel the driveway. Fun!!! I have been freakin' freezing this winter. Jeez, why is it so cold out there? It's like I wasn't born and raised in Minnesota or something!!!

On a more sad note, my cousin Kim passed away a few days ago. It was very unexpected. She had been suffering from migraines for a while, and she just collapsed the other day. They haven't figured out what it was yet, but I am going to guess an aneurysm or a blood clot in the brain. Kim is one of the 50 cousins that I can name. She is my mother's sister's daughter. My mother's older sister Linda has five children, Kim was the oldest, and I do believe that Kim was older than my mom!!! In the summer of 1993, when I was just about to turn 16, I spent a month with my Aunt Linda, Kim and her family up in Anchorage, Alaska. Kim had three daughters with whom I played, Sasha, Rachel and Jackie. I haven't seen those girls since 1993, (not including the 1 hour that I saw Sasha a few years ago). They were only about 12, 10 and 8. Poor Jackie just graduated from college the other day, and she is getting married next month. They live in Atlanta, so we won't be able to make it for the funeral. But all of my Aunt Linda's kids are great, I really like them all, which is more than I can say for some of my cousins!!!

At the time in 1993 that I stayed with Kim, she was in the army and we were living on the army base in Anchorage. It was a great time to spend up in Alaska, where the sun never set. I'll miss you Kim, I hope you're keeping Aunt Gail who also just passed on company.

More snow is suspected to come this evening in Southern Wisconsin. Sammy has to go into work at 1am this morning. He's a poor baby. I'll most likely be working from home tomorrow. So don't worry, you'll still be able to get a hold of me. As soon as we get our house done, I'll do another video so you can see it. It's very different now! Quite amazing what paint can do! So the next time we chat, I'll probably be either living in my house, or up in Minnesota with my little dudes...

No, It has not Happened for Us Yet!!!!

No, we haven't moved into our house yet. Yes it's been almost a month. But come on, would you if you didn't have to?? We can easily stay at Sam's mom's until our painting is done. AND...Sam has started on the laundry room floor. He ripped up the vinyl flooring and is now in the process of installing tile. He likes tile apparently. And we won't worry about the brand new washer and dryer sitting in our living room waiting to be installed!!! And my poor baby sis Jujee wants to come down and visit with us and we don't have a place for her! Ha! Our living room is a mad construction zone. But I have almost the whole living room painted!!! I'm cool. That is the last room we need to paint, besides the laundry room. Now we just have to get all the way up to those really high ceilings!!

Snow Much??

Yes, it is snowing. I'm so happy about that, I'm so happy about the fact that if I try to drive to my house I'll most likely crash. So much fun. I didn't even go to work today, no one in my office did. Everyone worked from home. And Sammy has been gone working for about fifteen hours. Poor guy. I'm just hanging out with my pal Nero the kittykat. After six months of living with him, he's finally decided he wants to come into our bedroom to get some pets. Aw Nero, you are such a fat kitty.

So yes, this whole blizzard is putting a damper to our moving into our new house. Yay for winter! NOT!

Last Goofy Video from Singapore...

For those of you waiting to see how our house is turning out, I don't have any new pics yet. I'll do a new video when all of the painting is done. So far, we have two bedrooms, two bathrooms and the kitchen, mostly. I've painted all of the main parts, and Sammy has to go through and tape everything up and finish the edging. It's really amazing what difference a coat of paint and new outlet covers make. Wow!

And I forgot about my last video that I recorded in Singapore. It's a goofy video of all of the baboons at the Singapore zoo. Watch the crazy young ones flopping all over the place; they remind me of some kids I know. Yeah, and just be glad that I didn't record that one crazy baboon who was 'playing with himself.' Teehee!

Supercalifragilistickexpealidocious!

Yay We've Got our Own House!!!

So we finally closed on our house, yay! The stress is over! It's so fun! I made a video for you all to see, or just maybe for you two people who read my blog to see (thanks Gina)...

We are almost closing, so I made this fun pic out of my desire to be photographically creative...

Update--Si, Soy Loca

So only a few people voted that they read my blog, but before I had plenty of people letting me know they read it!

Just wanted to update you, in case you were so worried. My brother found his car! Nothing stolen out of it, just a few dings. It was parked on a residential street and someone called it in. Hurray for Joey!! He's happy again.

And on this front of Amy going crazily insane...Si, Soy Loca means, 'Yes, I'm crazy.' Take a look at all of the crazy additions I've added to my blog over here on the right hand side. I've even added my favorite poems. So you two people who read my blog, thanks and that is for you.

Calling All Doctor Fish!!!

So at the same place where the scary Asian chicks were wandering around freaking everyone out, there was a boutique that contained tanks of tiny fish which they claimed were "doctor fish." These little fish supposedly scrape the dead skin cells off your feet and their lips leave some kind of enzyme on your skin to help regrow new cells. I had some time to kill before I caught my bus, so I gave it a try. And yes, they feel just like you would think they do, like minnows nibbling on your feet. It's freaky at first and it tickles, but then you get used to it. So I decided to record them nibbling on...yes, you guess it...my feet.

(P.S. And no, Joey has still not found his stolen truck...)

1st Video from Singapore!!

So I took a few videos in Singapore...

We all know how I love scary Asian movies, especially with those scary Asian chicks with long black hair. Well I visited the Night Safari in Singapore the day after Halloween, and they were still putting on their Halloween shenannigans. Just in case you don't know what I'm talking about when I say scary Asian chick, here's a pic for you...

So yes, there were some scary chicks at the Night Safari, they scared the crap out of me. Here is a video of them scaring the crap out of some other kids...
And, stay tuned for more Singapore videos.

Friday Night Boredom...

I'm bored and it's Friday night. Sammy has gone to bed early for he is going hunting tomorrow all day. He's happy and that means I'm happy. So I thought I'd show you pics of our new house that we're closing on in 12 days. This mortgage process has been a ride, very scary and stressful. I hate it. Last time I bought a house it was the same. Stupid houses. And now all the dumb banks let any old schmuck buy a house and people like Sam and I get SCREWED because WE have to follow all the new hard mortgage rules and regulations!!!

Anyways, yes, we have acquired a FIXED loan, meaning we don't have any danger of having our mortgage rate go up so high that we are unable to pay it. If anything, we can refinance when the rates are lower and our payments will go down. Woohoo!!!

So here's our wonderful new house, soon to be occupied by Amy and Sam....

Not too fancy but not too bad for a couple just starting out. Nah, I wasn't married before and didn't own a house before!!!

I really like this open and bright living room. I LOVE light.

And check out this fun kitchen. Just right for a couple like us, a crazy one that is. But let me tell you, I made pumpkin cake the other night and even though it overflowed all over into the oven, Judy and I were able to save it and cook it in another pan. DEEE-licious!

Hmmm, what else can I write about? Nothing much else. I've finally gotten my body back to Wisconsin time. No more waking up at 1am and not going back to sleep. Tried to work one day this week after that happened, only lasted an hour. Fun!! That actually hurt. It wasn't like just being really tired all day. My brain actually shut down and it hurt to think. I could have laid down anywhere and gone to sleep. It is a weird and different kind of tired. Nice.

Anyways, as some of you already know, Sam and I are now in need to purchase a new refridgerator and washer and dryer for our lovely new casa. I sent out e-mails asking for suggestions, and I got plenty of responses. Thanks everyone!! I'll update you later with sweet pics of our new appliances.

And, this morning on the Minnesota front, one dufus named Joey Rivera, brother to me, Amy, decided to leave his brand new Nissan Titan truck running unlocked while he ran back into the house to get the rest of his things to leave for work. And lo and behold, what happens?? Someone drives away with it!!!! They are now in search of their vehicle, and hopefully they'll get it back in one piece. I'll pray for you dufus Joey! I still love you! I stuck my tongue on an ice cold poll in the freezing wintertime once, that hurt like hell and ripped my whole tongue skin off. Could barely eat for a few days! Let's see, what other retarded things have I done like my crazy brother??? I hit a pole in Sam's work's parking lot just last month. Apparently I wasn't paying attention and drove right into the short pole that they have at the entrances to their parking lot, placed there I believe to keep dumb people like me away from the edges of the entrance. I pegged it but didn't do any damage. I might have pushed the post sideways a bit, but who's counting??!!

Ok, I'm done. I'll talk to ya'll later? So far I only have two people voting that they read my blog. Haha!

I'm Back but I'm Still on Singapore Time!!!

So it's Tuesday morning at 2:20 am. I DID go to work today but apparently I am now awake in the middle of the night. We'll see if I can get out of bed to get to work tomorrow. My mind is still on Singapore time, which means it thinks that it's 4:20pm tomorrow.

So you all were asking for some pics. Here they are. Singapore is known for its famous Merlion symbol, and my pal Osman took me to see it. Here I am:

And here I am with the baby merlion:

And me with the big momma merlion:

And I really like this pic for some reason. I was going to take a ride on these ducks but I ended up being too tired...

And here's me by a cool bridge:

And me with some naked boys jumping into the Singapore River:

This place really is pretty cool, it's a big city like Minneapolis or Chicago, although everything is also in Chinese. I took this pic in China Town...

And don't I look so busy working at the National Education Institute with my buddy Osman and Jing??

And isn't this a cool view from my hotel room? They sang songs at this mosque across the street every four or five hours. I could hear them in the middle of the night singing, and it was actually a bit comforting:

Oooh Oooh! And don't forget that I visited the Singapore Zoo and saw this cool Komodo Dragon. My brother told me to make sure to get a pic of a komodo dragon, since we tend not to have them in zoos in the U.S. The komodo dragon is the largest of the lizards besides the croc or gator, and they kill their pray with bacteria found in their saliva. This bacteria, once it enters the bloodstream, will render the muscles useless and the prey will become immobile. They can eat cows and bulls, and have been known to eat men! So if you ever run into one and it bites you, just make sure to get to high ground so you won't be eaten alive by them. They can't climb trees...

And check out these crazy fish that follow you along the water bank, they think you are going to feed them...

Oh! And I got to ride this elephant! My first elephant ride ever. I only have one pic of me riding. Since I visited the zoo by myself, I had to buy the professional one they took of us. I'll have to scan it and post it later:

Take a look at this baboon very closely, he's playing with his ding dong...

What can I say? I came all the way to Asia, might as well take a pic of a monkey playing with his ding dong.

But look, we have a friendly baby hippo. I named him..............Hippo!!!!

Yes, and as you know, I am a HUGE fan of scary Asian movies with those scary girls and their buggy eyes and long black hair. So at the night safari what do I see to my pleasant surprise on the day after Halloween?!! A scary Asian girl hanging out to give us a fright!!!

And she proceded to do what scary Asian chicks that are evil do. She tempted me to look into her baskets...and lo and behold, what did I find?? Not an ear in one...

Nor a finger in the other...

But another live scary Asian Chick who scared the crap out of me!!!.......

Here's a better more closer look at her face...

Haha. That was freakin' awesome.

So the next day I went to the Chinese Gardens with my pal Jing and her cute little six-year-old son Tsi Tsi. We fed some turtles and hung out with Confucius.

We also had lunch a one of the millions of local malls, but don't worry I didn't eat from this place, which offered wonderful appetizers such as Pig Kidney Soup and Pig Stomach Noodles...

And Jing took me to the Singapore vacation island of Sentosa, where we visited the lovely Poppa Merlion who you see here eating Jing and I....

And we visited the insect and butterfly garden, which I have to say, I am very intrigued by considering the fact that I absolutely hate cockroaches since I grew up with them in my homes and have actually touched the nasty ones that invade your cupboards. I WAS going to grab one of these butterflies but it appears they were doing it and not able to be separated...

So I got this one instead..

And all should be proud of me, for I held this scratchy stick bug all on my own. Now the bug keeper in this room also had a black scorpion about 8 inches long, present completely with the inch and a half long stinger. He tried to put it on Jing and I claiming that it was harmless (and it did seem like it didn't mind this guy carrying it around by its tail and placing it on the visitors) but Jing and I have our limits. So just take this and be proud of me...

At the end of the day we took the cable car back to the main island, a little scary but we made it...

And on my last wonderful day in Singapore, the three of us sat together and had a nice meal at Osman's sweet pad, decorated with baby and all. Osman didn't mind that I almost vomited in his car. Hey, when jet lag gets ya, you can't run. I ended up making it to the hotel lobby and only projectile vomited in the lobby garbage, freaking out Osman and Jing who swore they would take me to the doctor asap. Sorry guys! Just a little case of car sickness!!!

So take a look at the remaining pics, I'll upload them later. And for those of you who are aching for some short video, I have some of that too! But unfortunately, they're taking too long to upload and I am very impatient.

So that is it for now! Stay tuned, Sam and I have about two weeks to get ready for our new house! I'm super excited!

I'm Almost Home!!!

I'm so tired, couldn't sleep on the plane. Still on my way home. Some stupid lady sitting behind me got bitchy about me sitting down too hard in my seat, but when I turned around and gave her a look, she quickly looked down. I don't think she expected me to confront her that way! Haha!

Was on the plane when they announced who had won the presidency. The pilots casually forgot to tell us, and I learned who had become the next president by the Japanese man sitting next to me on the plane. Isn't that funny, a non-U.S. citizen telling a citizen who their next president is. Oh well.

I'll be getting home today at about 3pm or so. I'll probably be heading to sleep instantly, as I am extremely tired right now, I'm still on Singapore time and it's 2:38am in my brain. Took two sleeping pills on the plane but then I couldn't fall asleep even though I was so tired!!!

I've got many pics from my trip. Stay tuned and I'll be adding them to the blog and to my pic site. So tired, soo soo tired, my hair looks crazy for sitting on a plane for a day. 6 hours from Singapore to Tokyo, 10.5 hours from Tokyo to Minneapolis, and 1.5 hours from Minneapolis to Madison. Fun!! It's kind of weird, you sit there forever and you think it's about the same time, but then when you really think about it, you realize that you spent 17 hours on a plane and it's really the next day.

Ok, Peace out. I've gotta catch the plane home...

Go Obama...

I'm Still in Asia!!

It's been a week. I've been working with the Ministry of Education and my co-workers Osman and Jing. We've been driving around, visiting all kinds of places. I have many photos but I am just too tired to upload them all. I'll give you one for now...

Haha, I've got some Singapore facts for you. It seems everyone is thinking that I'm somewhere else other than Singapore. I've been told to have fun in the following places: Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong. Nope, sorry, Singapore is none of these places. It is it's own country on the southern coast of Malaysia. It WAS a part of Malaysia until the 60's when Malaysia kicked it out and told it to be independent on its own. It is about 273 miles squared, roughly 40 miles larger than Chicago. It has the 2nd highst populations density in the world, and is the 6th wealthiest country in the world in terms of GDP per capita. This would explain the THOUSANDS of malls that we pass every single day.

The main three races are Chinese, Malay and Indian, however, the majority of the citizens are of Chinese decent. Singapore has the 3rd lowest birth rate in the world, so the government is encouraging foreigners to immigrate.

The official national language is Malay, however, that is only for historical purposes and Singapore Standard English is the language of administration and business, and implemented as a first language early in the education system. This is why it is very easy to travel and conduct business in Singapore.

More fun Singapore facts:

  • It is a highly competitive society. The word to describe their social attitudes is kiasu, which literally means "fear of losing." It is a culture where nobody wants to be, or perceived to be, lagging behind society as a whole.
  • It is a hierarchical society. Elders are introduced first, given their preferential seating, and generally put on a pedastal.
  • Singaporians are very sensitive to retaining face in all aspects of their lives.
  • It is a very "Plugged-in" society. 70% of Singapore's residents are internet users. The ratio of cell phones in Singapore is 1:1. One of the most popular pastimes is blogging.
  • It is an increasingly materialistic society, as one's social and economic status is reflected by the quality of goods one has.
  • A minimum annual income of $30,000 is required to obtain a credit card.
Ok, I guess that's about it for now. It is illegal to chew gum in Singapore, and possession of drugs is punishable by death, or more like public hangings!!!

Stay tuned! It's Sunday. I'm off to a small island in the south called Sentosa. Yesterday I visited the zoo and the Night Safari...

I'm in Singapore!!!

So I'm either really REALLY exhausted from house purchasing drama and stress as well as getting ready to come here, or I have some completely maximum sleeping pills, because I arrived in Singapore and slept the whole day on Sunday!!! I even slept most of the time on the plane, so I don't know what is going on! Haha. I woke up in the evening on Sunday and went back to sleep, thinking that when I woke up again it was 9am, but when I looked outside and saw that it was still dark, I got super confused and wondered if I had slept my way into Tuesday somehow. Turns out though, I just read my watch upside down. It doesn't help that there is no clock in this room. That is on my list of things to get tomorrow. Haha!!!

But it's 5:45 in the morning here, MONDAY morning, and I'm waiting until 6am so I can walk down to the fancy breakfast suite because I am STARVING! I'm just glad I didn't wake up to find it miraculously Monday evening or Tuesday morning.

That is the excitement of my Singapore beginning.

Tootles!!

October Fun!!!

Hello everyone! I do apologize that I haven't updated you on our lives lately. We've been so busy. Two weeks ago I had to drive up to northern Wisconsin, so north that I had to stay in a hotel in Michigan for the night. That was a busy week. I returned to work last week, only to jump onto the road again Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Fun fun fun when you are a trainer of career development!!!

What have Sammy and I been up to? We have been looking for a house to buy!!! Last week we took a look at 11 houses in the Milton area. We really only liked one, but our search went on. Then...by chance, Sammy found a beautiful house in Fulton that has been on the market for more than 8 months, meaning that we could most likely offer a lower amount than what they are asking. What is the house, you ask? Well, here is a link to the MLS listing, and feel free to take the virtual tour. It's absolutely beautiful...

http://scwmls.fnismls.com/publink/default.aspx?GUID=c43ef0f7-0cab-4064-8df9-4ed6bf33e2fe&Report=Yes

Now it's across from the Rock river, meaning we do NOT have river access, but we can see the river from our living room windows. But, my dear friends and family, do not get your hopes up, for we still have to make an offer, and we still have to see if they accept it.

However, ALAS!!! We have a wonderful backup house that we absolutely love as well! It's not as hunterish and rustic as our favorite, but it's pretty swell, AND it's way cheaper, so we know we can get this one for sure (unless someone buys it before us)...

http://scwmls.fnismls.com/publink/default.aspx?GUID=3e068aee-9b3b-4a99-81fc-d3e7fea867fe&Report=Yes

So wish us luck, we are going to be playing the housing market like crazy over the next few weeks. And if that isn't excitement enough for you, remember, I'm off to Singapore a week from Friday, October 24th, to be gone for almost two weeks!!! I'm super excited, and I've got my sweet new camera so I can take tons of pics. For those of you who do not know, Singapore is an island country off the southern coast of Malaysia. It is roughly the size of the city of Chicago, but they are the 6th richest country in the world. AND...they speak English over there. Yay for me!!

I think that's about it for now--Sammy keeps hunting but has no luck. He DID get to shoot a doe with his bow, but the bow snapped and the arrow went flying 25 feet above the doe's head and she took off running. Briggs if you're reading this, please forgive me, and please get your hands ready for my return to Minnesota, I'm aching for your sweet rubs...

Is September Almost Over Already???

Well well well...it's Friday night and I'm am exactly where I want to be, in my bed. My Samuel has gone up north for the weekend to help his buddy Josh and his dad take out their lake dock, and I am hanging out at home with Judy Rusch, while her hubby has also left to celebrate his 50th birthday in Vegas. Happy Birthday Richie!!!

This week was a bit busy, but next week I'm heading up to Pembine, Wisconsin, which is so close to the Michigan border that I need to stay in a hotel in Michigan. Woah! I'll add that to my list of states visited. Then I'm off to Neenah, then Oshkosh. Yes, and exciting week ahead of me--traveling all around Northern Wisconsin. But I'm getting ready for my trip to Singapore, and as the days pass, I'm getting more excited!! Don't forget, I'm off on October 24th!!

This past weekend, Sammy and I hung out with his buddy Josh at a random party at Southern Wisconsin News. I am having fun with my pic editing and am proud to display these lovely pics from last weekend...

I'll be sure to bring my camera with me next week, maybe I'll find some picture worthy scenes to capture, or maybe I'll just take pics of my face...or whatever. Gotta use that eBay camera man!

Woah! I'm At it Again...

It's Hunting Season!!

And here is our friend, Mr. Sammy J., going out hunting on the weekend opener. I'm glad he didn't ask me to come along, for I don't think it's too fun to go and sit in the woods quietly non-stop for hours, just sitting there and sitting there. Apparently my impatience has grown severely lately, so I'd rather stay home on this one!

I did go turkey hunting with him last year. It WAS quite fun. We saw no turkeys until we were leaving and one jumped out in front of our car as we were pulling away. Stupid turkey. And, we were attacked by thousands of new ticks as we sat creeping in the forest waiting for those gobble gobbles to come. I found one on my arm two days later, it had stuck into my skin. My poor pal Kip had to pull it off me as I freaked out. I DO NOT like parasites!!! Haha. Thanks Kippers.

So here is Sammy, all ready and cute. He is my first model with my fancy new camera that I purchased off eBay. Ahhh eBay, I love you...

It's Mid-September Already??!!!

To my fellow loyal bloggers:

Yes, it is mid-September already. Can you believe it? This 15th marks my third month living in this crazy cheese state with this crazy bald maniac boy named Sam. So far I love that boy even more...AND, I just turned 31 on August 31st. Golden birthday, 31 years old and childless, that's how I see myself at least. Haha! I'm so old!! I know everyone will say that I'm not, and I sure do not see anyone else that is 31 to be old, just myself...teehee!!!

My brother came down to visit me with Pa Chia and the boys on my birthday. I was SO happy to see them!! I love those little dudes to death, here we all are on my birthday...

And Manny, the baby, he seems to be the one who eats the most out of the boys. He will eat anything, as I thought, until I gave him a baby tomato to try, which I am proud to say that he did try, but then let out an "ewww!" and spit it out of his mouth and let fall on his yellow shirt. We sprayed it down and got it clean with spray and wash, rinsed it and threw it in the dryer. This apparently mesmerized him, here he is happily watching his shirt dry...

And here is the birthday princess with her birthday prince. He's so sweet. Where others in my past would have left when my brother came to visit me, my sweet boy stayed and hung out with us, playing with my boys. All three of them liked to sit by him as he sat in his chair.

But boohoo, my brother had to leave right away, he drove late Saturday night and arrived Sunday morning only to leave Sunday evening. I was sad to see them go, but Sammy and I got up and went out to watch the Midget wrestling at Anchor Inn in Edgerton, Wisconsin. I thought that they liked to be called "Little People," but apparently these particular ones didn't mind being called midgets, as they were parading around with t-shirts talking about their midget wrestling league.

We left the midget wrestling and went to Snuffy's, where there is a good chance that I showed my butt to some of Sam's friends as we were playing pool. My ploy worked too, for each time I flashed them, they missed their shot. Haha! Might as well show it off while I have it and before it goes down hill, don't you agree? I can be Rose from the movie Titanic, a ninete-year-old lady proud to tell her granddaughter that the hot naked chick in the drawing was her. I want to be able to tell my sweet granddaughters that. Haha!!!

Sammy has been working at his landscaping company for a few weeks now. We have been driving together to save on gas. I've been working hard too, getting ready planning for my trip to Singapore. I'll be heading out to that country at the end of October, and I will be there until November 5th, which means I get to miss the elections!!!! Please, if you really believe in a woman's right to choose, I implore you to vote for Obama. That is the most important issue for me...but don't worry, I'll still get to vote via absentee ballot. Yay for me.

Stay tuned, it's hunting season and Sam's going to be gone a lot. I'm hanging out at home, working on my capstone project and reading books. I actually do enjoy it, I'm a homebody. Sam was always worried about dating new girls, he always wanted to see how they would do during hunting season, if they stuck with him. I did last year, but that was when we were living in St. Paul and he had no pals to hunt. I don't anticipate any problems this year though, for I do enjoy my time alone. I'm addicted to the internet, and can type 80 words a minute. I just bought a sweet new 12mp camera, so be prepared for fancier sweet new pics...
